Holy Week 2025 Wednesday, 16 April – Mass of Chrism 11.00 Leeds Cathedral – all welcome. Holy Thursday, 17 April – Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper 7pm with watching at the Altar of Repose to 9.15.pm at St Mary’s. Good Friday, 18 April – Celebration of The Lord’s Passion 3pm in both churches with Stations of the Cross at St Aelred’s. Holy Saturday, 19 April – Easter Vigil 7pm at St Aelred’s. Easter Sunday masses as usual.

We have had lots of generous chocolate donations so far and have created some beautiful chocolate hampers – so a big thank you! Krista Gray will be selling raffle tickets for the chocolate raffle this Sunday and next after Mass at St Aelred’s and Anna Dimond at St Mary’s, please contact them if you would like a ticket. Any additional chocolate donations will be gratefully received. Raffle will be drawn on Sunday, 27th April . Many thanks!

A message from Jill Collins Headteacher at St Robert’s Primary School. The children really enjoyed the Retreat Day and the teachers said they took it all in and talked all about it. A huge thank you to you and your team of volunteers for putting it all together and delivering it. We are so grateful we have such a supportive community. Thank you to everyone for making it a great success.

Fishy Tuesday – 29 April 2025. All are welcome to come and enjoy fish and chips, mushy peas, coffee/tea, bread and butter and sweets for afters, as well as some good chat.
