Are you curious about becoming a Catholic? Would you like to formally join the Catholic Church? Do you want to learn more about what it truly means to be a Catholic? Are you an adult who has not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation? Our parish warmly invites individuals to delve into the tenets of the Catholic Faith by asking questions and exploring the Church’s teachings, with the hope that they may choose to become part of our community of faith. If you are interested in such enquiries, please join us for the one of our sessions - the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
The RCIA, short for "Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults," is a process of Christian formation rooted in our church's ancient tradition. It is thoughtfully designed and structured for individuals who wish to explore the path to becoming Catholic.
Newcomers begin a transformative process that allows them to become engaged members of the parish community. The catechumenal journey (or RCIA process) consists of three stages, referred to by the Church as rites or ceremonies. These stages serve as transitional periods during which, through time and support, new members can deepen their understanding and experience of the Catholic faith.
